These are your responsibilities
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Milling Machine Operator with hands-on experience in VMC / Turn Mill and 5-axis machining operations. The candidate should be capable of independently handling setups, tooling, offsets, and production activities for precision-machined components.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling/Turn Mill and 5-axis machining centers efficiently.
- Perform machine setup, tool setting, work offset corrections, and prove-out activities.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T, and process sheets.
- Execute precision machining operations with close tolerance control.
- Conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as:
Vernier Caliper
Micrometer
Height Gauge
Bore Gauge - Monitor machining quality and maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Optimize cycle time and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with CAM programmers, quality inspectors, and production supervisors.
- Maintain machine cleanliness, preventive care, and workplace discipline.
- Follow all production and safety standards.
Your Skills & Qualification
Preferred Qualifications
ITI / Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC milling operations.
- Exposure to 5-axis machining is mandatory.
- Understanding of tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, and offsets.
- Ability to independently manage setups and production runs.
- Basic understanding of CNC programs and editing.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on the machine.
Experience
5–8 Years
Preferred
- Controller Exposure
- Heidenhain Controller
- Haas Controller
- Mazatrol / Mazak Controller
- Experience in precision engineering, aerospace, medical, or mould manufacturing preferred.
