These are your responsibilities

  • Responsible for CAM programming using HyperMill for complex 3-axis and 5-axis milling operations across CNC milling machines.
  • Develop, simulate, and optimize CNC programs (G & M codes) using CAM software, ensuring accuracy and collision-free machining.
  • Select and optimize cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies to achieve superior surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
  • Perform cycle time optimization through toolpath refinement, parameter tuning, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Program and support VMC and HMC machines equipped with FANUC, Heidenhain, and Siemens control systems.
  • Conduct first-off trials and prove-out activities, ensuring program validation before batch production.
  • Implement productivity improvement initiatives (Kaizen activities) to reduce setup time, machining cost, and tool wear.
  • Analyze machining challenges and provide technical troubleshooting support for shop floor operations.
  • Maintain documentation for CNC programs, tooling data, and process sheets to ensure standardization and repeatability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Your Skills & Qualification

  • B.E in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAM programming (HyperMill/Mastercam/NX).
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, tooling, and machining materials.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in CAM programming or machining process engineering.
